Sergey Tsiptsin  graduated Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of  Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

Since 1996, engaged in computer graphics, technical product support Alias ​​| Wavefront, Avid, USAnimation etc. Conducted courses on Maya for 7 years, resulting in a multi-volume work published "Understanding Maya». For 10 years conducted  in Russia seminars on computer graphics. Since 2006 he is the director and producer of the International Conference on Computer Graphics CG EVENT.
