WeiT Media announced a partnership agreement prolongation with Kazakh Channel Seven till the end of 2012. Cooperation conditions are still the same: the total share of TV content produced by WeiT Media and Endemol for Channel Seven will make about 25%.

Looking back, on January 17, 2011 WeiT Media came up with a long-term agreement with Kazak Channel Seven, the biggest in CIS between a broadcaster and a prodco. This commitment made WeiT Media Channel Seven’s priority partner in production, distribution and adaptation of TV content. In cooperation contexts a new development strategy was implemented: the channel has changed targeting, made a rebranding and reorganized broadcasting schedule.

Thanks to the new strategy and updated content Channel Seven increased total share in threefold and make it up to 7.2% in audience 6-54. The channel fixated as one of the most popular Kazak TV channels. Growth media rates allowed Channel Seven to proceed to the system of GRP advertisement selling. Therefore Channel Seven made an agreement with Video International - the biggest CIS advertisement seller.

Such expansive rate growth is unprecedented for the media industry and it is a result of effective cooperation between production company and TV channel, more to say it is an evidence of Kazak TV market potential, its flexibility and growth opportunity’, - said Timur Weinstein, general producer of WeiT Media.

In 2012 WeiT Media and Channel Seven will continue increasing the national content share in broadcasting schedule.

Ukrainian Content Market will be held in Kyiv on September 12-14, 2012 in course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK. Please follow up UCM news on our website.
