It’s the first content marketplace in the CIS region designed for pitching and promotion of TV projects of different formats (from shows to series) that look for co-production, as well as facilitating the co-production market in CIS region by allowing the local producers to cooperate with international TV projects.

The catalogue of KYIV CoProduction Meetings will traditionally include about 40 projects, 9 of which will be presented to experts and the audience at the pitching session, which is an important part of the event. To assess and select projects, the organizers invite international experts to the jury. Representatives of each project, selected for pitching, will receive feedback on the project from the jury, recommendations for pitching, as well as advice on further development. Among the experts of the previous editions of the KYIV CoProduction Meetings, there were Peter Carlton (Warp Films, United Kingdom), Axel Arno (SVT, Sweden), Nicola Söderlund (Sparks Eccho Group, Sweden), Frederic Pittoors d'Haveskercke (Baradal, France) and others.

Among the projects that were pitched at the previous editions of KYIV CoProduction Meetings it is worth mentioning the joint Slovak-Ukrainian project The Line; the project of a full-length film Tank from the Ukrainian company Noosphere Films, which became the winner of the pitching in the course of Berlinale Co-Production Market in Berlin; animation project Mavka. The Forest Song from Ukrainian FILM.UA Group presented this year at the Cannes film market; as well as eastern dramedy Voroshilovgrad (Ukraine) and documentary project Amondo Wedding Tour (Poland). However, the winner of last year was the project of an 8-series historical detective with elements of mysticism Lemberg, which was represented by Olesya Lukyanenko and Elena Malkova from Ukraine.

Let’s recall that last year in the course of "TVіy Serial" partnership program the forum’s partner TV channel Ukraine provided a special prize to the winner of KYIV CoProduction Meetings 2016 – a ticket to Paris and accommodation to participate in the international festival Series Mania, which took place in April 2017. In addition, a series of stories about the project, the winner, and their trip to the festival Series Mania was shown on Ukraine TV channel.
