K7 Media to explore the evolution of children's programming at KMW 2018

26 July 2018, 12:40

As official Knowledge Partner of KYIV MEDIA WEEK, international media consultancy K7 Media has announced it is to collate the very best of global children’s programming to screen at the annual media forum.

The one hour-long screening will present a collection of the best offerings on the market for young people and explore the ongoing impact of streaming platforms on the development of children’s programming.

Speaking on the screening K7 Media’s Communications Manager, David Ciaramella, commented: ‘No longer restricted by schedules, or even TV packages, the volume of new children’s programmes entering the market has expanded exponentially. With online streaming platforms continuing to invest heavily in developing their own child friendly offerings, and with Disney soon to launch a major new global streamer, it is a fascinating time to explore how kids shows continue to evolve and change.

K7 Media provides insight and intelligence to the world’s biggest media brands. The company launched its regular K7 Little Report in 2015, charting the developments in children’s TV from across the world, and will publish the latest edition of its Youth Insight Report in late July 2018.

The ‘Screening of the hottest kids' content by K7 Media’ will take place at KMW on Wednesday, September 19, at the Hyatt Regency Kyiv, between 10am – 11am.

Taking place on September 17-21, KYIV MEDIA WEEK early bird tickets will be available until July 31.
