Program of II Conference ‘Fighting Piracy in Ukraine: What’s done – What to do. 2018’ in the course of KMW

The conference for rights holders will be held on September 19 in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2018. The program of the conference will provide you withthe results offightingagainst the violation of intellectual property rights process in 2017-2018:

• Researchers – on the attendance of pirate sites. Presentation of results ofresearch onthe Ukrainian Internet consumer ‘Where, How and Why They Consume Illegal Content’. Traffic analysis. The pathof stolencontent on pirate resources.
• Rights holders – analysis of potential losses ofrights holders through piracy. 
• Cyberpolice – onmeasures to prevent the violation of intellectual property rights.
• Providers –on the existence of illegal ‘competitors’ on the market
• Advertisers – on advertising on legal and pirate content. 
• Representatives of cash payments system – on paid pirate services and blocking of intruder payments.
• As well as search engines, bulletin boards and other members of the ecosystem of pirate- on the results of cooperation with the rights holders, plans for the next yearand the new types of pirate businesses.

The conference will be held on September 19 from 14:00 until 17:00 at Hyatt Regency Kyiv at Paris Conference Hall.

Organizer– ‘ClearSky’ Initiative. Theconferencewillgatherrightsholdersofaudiovisualcontentandlawyers of Ukrainian and International companiestopromote constructive dialogue forjoint decision-making on further actions to protect the copyright and related rights.

KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2018 will gather more guests and speakers from all over the world, official delegations from Korea, China, Moldova, the United States and other countries of the world, as well as special events from partners of the forum – leading Ukrainian and international companies. KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2018 will be held on September 17-21, 2018 at Hyatt Regency Kyiv.
