Radio in Ukraine: current challenges and big prospects

On September 19 KYIV MEDIA WEEK will feature a special panel discussion with the participation of leading experts in radio industry; it will be dedicated to the most burning issues of the field.  

The panel will be moderated by Ukrainian Radio general producer Dmitry Khorkin. The participants will discuss relevant issues of the field as well as development prospects, both short- and long-term.  

In particularone of the issues will be Ukraines switch to digital broadcasting starting from September 1 – andas aconsequencefreed up frequencies in the upper FM range. Who will compete for them – network stations, local broadcasters, or National Public Broadcaster?
