International experts from Sweden, Canada, Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia and Poland will attend B2B Doc CoProduction Meetings

On September 18, documentary filmmakers form Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine and Czech Republic will present their projects at the forum B2B Doc CoProduction Meetings that will be held in the course of KYIV MEDIA WEEK 2017. Experts of the international platform Baltic to Black Sea Documentary Network (B2B Doc) have preselected nine projects for presentation at the pitching session. Each project has potential for international co-production and worldwide distribution. Producers and directors of the projects passed through pitch training by Swedish documentary experts helping them to develop the most appropriate tools of presenting creative and financial components of the projects.

  • Satanic Girls: Women on the Move, producer Anna Herza Tydlitátová (Czech Republic) 

Nine international experts engaged in the judging panel of the pitching session will give their feedback on the presentations and held individual meetings with the projects representatives:

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Hagström will welcome the participants of the forum. 

Moreover, one of the co-founders of the international platform B2B Doc, chairman of the Swedish Independent Filmmakers Association will present the case study of the documentary project ‘Svetlana Alexievich: The Biggest Lie is the Documentary’ that will be screened during the event. 

Organizers invite producers and directors to attend and use the opportunity to discover new projects that are looking for co-production partners as well as to learn firsthand the opinions of the experts setting trends in documentary filmmaking in the CEE region.
