Організатори KMW CoProduction Meetings розкривають ім’я п’ятої іноземної учасниці

Finally the names of all five international participants of the co-production section of KYIV MEDIA WEEK are known. They will come to Ukraine searching for partners for co-production. 

The main goal of KMW CoProduction Meetings is promoting development of international co-production in Ukraine, therefore the organizers of the event took care to invite fogeign producers, who not only have vast experience in international co-production, but would be interested in co-production with Ukraine in particular. 

Thus, the last fifth participant of the co-production event has prepared a project of the TV series, set in Kyiv in the near future, and will present it to the Ukrainian producers, for whom the event is free thanks to the support of Ukrainian Cultural Foundation within the framework of Strengthening Capacity of Ukrainian Audiovisual Sector program. 

The fifth participant is Martichka Bozhilova, film and TV producer of the most awarded Bulgarian production company AGITPROP. She co-produced with France, Germany, the US, Scandinavia, Italy, OAE, Turkey, Greece and all over Eastern Europe. Her high-end author driven films have been selected and awarded at Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, London, Tribeca, Karlovy Vary, IDFA and many others, and have been sold worldwide. Among her numerous films are: TOUCH ME NOT (Golden Bear Winner, Berlinale, 2018), LOVE & ENGINEERING (Tribeca, Karlovy Vary), OMELETTE (Sundance), THE MOSQUITO PROBLEM AND OTHER STORIES (Cannes, Toronto), GEORGI AND THE BUTTERFLIES (IDFA winner), feature film and TV series PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE (DokLeipzig audience prize). Producer of FATHER’S DAY TV drama series for Bulgarian National TV, which premiered in 2019, getting the highest TV scores in Bulgaria. Producer of the first Bulgarian original programs for HBO and National Geographic.

“I am interested in possible International scripted and non-scripted projects in the field of both - drama and documentaries. Also, I am ready to work on co-productions of dramas and docs with concepts of Ukraine and Europe. In addition, I would consider cooperation/service for filming part of our projects in Ukraine.

Earlier we announced four of foreign producers that will take in KMW CoProduction Meetings 2019: Gal Zaid, Head of TV script writing department at Endemol Shine (Israel), Anders Tangen, CEO of Viafilm (Norway / USA), Gavin Reardon, Head of Sales and Co-production at Incendo (Canada) and Rastislav Šesták, Member of the Slovak Academy of Film and Television, Co-owner and producer of DNA Production Studio (Slovakia).

KMW CoProduction Meetings 2019 will be held on September 18 and 19 at Hyatt Regency Kyiv (5, Alli Tarasova St.). The admission is free for registered participants. Details are available at the link. The results of the pre-selection of Ukrainian participants will be announced of 10, September, 2019.
